Mad Max is an Australian apocalyptic action thriller film from 1979, it is a story of social breakdown, murder, and vengeance and turned out to be a box office hit. In October 2005 the Guardian had the headline, “Vulnerable people will roam the country like in Mad Max.” This was based on the report that the government removed 1.7 billion from housing the homeless, failing England’s homeless and implies the country would go down like the film “Mad Max.” Rapper Kanye West and philosopher Frederic Nietzsche who died in 1900, do they have something in common? In one of Kanye West latest songs intilited “Stronger”, it states “What does not kill me make me stronger” , this was taken by the philosophers quote of “what does not kill me make me stronger”.
This week I trying to sort out work experience or volunteer work for myself in the fashion industry, I am trying my best. I managed to grab a few free magazines in London at the weekend from top fashion areas such as Carnaby street. Fashion was very much “the thing” with many events following the late London fashion week.
